Nominations sought for county honors
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone is accepting nominations for the Third Supervisorial District Woman of the Year and Man of the Year awards.
The awards recognize people whose efforts have significantly improved the quality of life in the Third District, which includes the cities of Canyon Lake, Hemet, Murrieta, San Jacinto and Temecula, as well as the unincorporated areas of Anza, Aguanga, Idyllwild, Menifee Valley, Pinyon Pines, Valle Vista, Winchester and Wine Country.
Nominees may live, volunteer or work in the district and must have displayed qualities such as leadership, served as exemplary role models and made contributions that indelibly improved life in the Third District.
Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Jan. 30, 2008.
